China will resolutely prevent the rebound of the coronavirus outbreak as the country faces mounting pressure from imported cases, state television reported on Friday, quoting a top level meeting chaired by President Xi Jinping.
The lag in data collection is just one of a number of bottlenecks in the effort to slow the virus’ deadly spread in nursing homes across the U.S.
“In Pennsylvania alone, there will be $9 billion worth of losses, and maybe 30 percent of that will come back,” Jefferson Health CEO Dr. Stephen Klasko said.
County health officials in Washington State walked back earlier claims that young people were gathering in a deliberate attempt to be exposed to the coronavirus.
